Driving Directions - Golden Ring Hotel
Taxis from the airport should cost around 1000-1500 RUR (30-50 USD), taking
around 40 minutes to an hour to reach the Kremlin. Travellers should be wary of
long queues and reports of over-charging, hijack and attacks by taxi drivers.
Avoid this by taking an official taxi with a rate fixed at the taxi counter,
although it will be more expensive. 24-hour express buses and mini buses run to
central Moscow every 20 minutes from outside Terminal One and a bus station on
the arrivals level of Terminal Two. While the immediate area of the hotel is
best explored on foot, Moscow is a big city best explored farther afield on the
city's renowned met ro system. Trains run every two to five minutes from 6am to
1am daily. Buses, trolleybuses and trams operate from 5.30 AM to 11 PM daily.
